E.P. Carrillo Pledge Sojourn Pack of 10

E.P. Carrillo Pledge Sojourn (6" x 52) is the newest addition to the E.P. Carrillo portfolio, following up the release of La Historia and Encore. I do have to say, this one really takes the cake. Pledge starts out with a dark Connecticut Habano wrapper, which shows some veins running up and down the cigar. Underneath this wrapper is an Ecuadorian binder that encases a blend of Nicaraguan long-fillers. The result is a magnificent medium to full-bodied cigar that fills the palate with rich and creamy smoke on every puff. This cigar starts out in the medium-bodied range, but starts to get a bit fuller as you continue down the cigar, but never becomes overwhelming. You might notice notes of cocoa, and sweetness transition into leather and pepper as the cigar continues to burn- a perfectly even burn if I might add.
