This Privacy Policy describes how Marketing Loop LLC, doing business as CigarFinder ("CigarFinder," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you access or use our website at www.cigarfinder.com, our mobile-optimized site, and all related services (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

We collect information you voluntarily provide when you register for an account, use our features, or contact us. This may include:

•  Account information: name, email address, password, and profile avatar.

•  Profile information: mailing address, city, state, and phone number.

•  Social login data: if you register or log in via Google or Facebook, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from the social platform. We do not receive or store your social media password.

•  Humidor data: cigar names, brands, quantities, prices, wrapper types, personal notes, and photos you upload to your virtual humidor.

•  Journal entries: cigar names, brands, ratings, tasting notes (strength, draw, burn, flavor, pairings), written notes, and photos you upload to your cigar journal.

•  Wishlist data: products you save to your wishlist.

•  Reviews: product reviews and ratings you submit.

•  AI Advisor interactions: questions, prompts, and preferences you share with our AI Cigar Advisor chatbot.

•  Communications: messages you send us through our contact form or via email.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit or use the Services, we may automatically collect:

•  IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system.

•  Pages viewed, links clicked, and time spent on pages.

•  Referring URL and search terms that led you to the site.

•  Recently viewed products and browsing history within our site.

•  Approximate geolocation data derived from your IP address.

•  Cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies (see Section 5).

1.3 Information from Third Parties

We may receive information from social login providers (Google, Facebook), analytics providers, advertising networks, and our retail partners. If we combine this information with data we collect directly, we treat the combined data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

•  Provide and operate the Services: including price comparison, AI Advisor recommendations, humidor management, cigar journal, wishlist, and account features.

•  Personalize your experience: including tailored cigar recommendations, recently viewed products, and AI Advisor suggestions based on your stated preferences.

•  Process and store your content: including humidor entries, journal entries, photos, reviews, and wishlist items.

•  Communicate with you: including welcome emails, password resets, account notifications, and optional promotional communications.

•  Improve the Services: including analyzing usage patterns, debugging issues, and developing new features.

•  Ensure security: including fraud detection, abuse prevention, and protecting our users and systems.

•  Comply with legal obligations: including responding to lawful requests from government authorities.

3. Photo Uploads and User-Generated Content

Our Services allow you to upload photos to your humidor, cigar journal, profile avatar, and reviews. When you upload a photo:

•  Images are automatically resized (maximum 800×800 pixels) and stored on our secure servers.

•  Photos are associated with your account and the specific humidor item or journal entry.

•  Your uploaded photos are visible only to you when logged in, and to CigarFinder administrators for moderation and support purposes.

•  We do not sell, license, or publicly display your uploaded photos without your explicit consent.

•  When you delete a humidor item, journal entry, or your account, associated photos are permanently removed from our servers.

•  Maximum file size for uploads is 5 MB per image. We accept common image formats (JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP).

4. AI Cigar Advisor

Our AI Cigar Advisor uses artificial intelligence to provide cigar recommendations and answer questions. When you interact with the AI Advisor:

•  Your messages and preferences are processed to generate responses and recommendations.

•  Conversation data may be reviewed by CigarFinder to improve the quality and accuracy of the AI Advisor.

•  The AI Advisor does not have access to your payment information or passwords.

•  AI-generated recommendations are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional, medical, or financial advice.

•  We do not sell your AI conversation data to third parties.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to enhance your experience, analyze usage, and deliver targeted advertising. Types of cookies we use include:

•  Essential cookies: required for basic site functionality, including login sessions and security tokens.

•  Analytics cookies: help us understand how visitors interact with the site (e.g., Google Analytics).

•  Advertising cookies: used by third-party advertising networks to serve relevant ads based on your browsing behavior.

•  Preference cookies: remember your settings, such as recently viewed products and display preferences.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may limit the functionality of the Services. 6. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

•  Retail partners: when you click through to a retailer's site, the retailer may receive referral data (e.g., which product you clicked on). We do not share your account details, humidor, journal, or wishlist data with retailers.

•  Service providers: we use third-party services for email delivery (Amazon SES), hosting (Amazon Web Services), analytics (Google Analytics), and social authentication (Google, Facebook). These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually obligated to protect it.

•  Legal requirements: we may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of CigarFinder, our users, or the public.

•  Business transfers: in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction. We will notify you of any such change.

•  With your consent: we may share information for purposes not described in this policy with your explicit consent.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. You may request deletion of your data at any time by:

•  Deleting your account: visit your Profile page, scroll to Account Management, and click "Delete My Account." This permanently removes your account, humidor data, journal entries, photos, wishlist, reviews, and all associated personal data.

•  Clearing specific data: use the "Clear Humidor," "Clear Journal," "Clear Wishlist," or "Clear Recently Viewed" buttons on your Profile page to remove specific categories of data without deleting your account.

•  Contacting us: email admin@cigarfinder.com to request data access, correction, or deletion.

After account deletion, we may retain anonymized, aggregated data that cannot be used to identify you for analytics purposes. We may also retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.

8. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including:

•  SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmitted between your browser and our servers.

•  Secure password hashing — we never store passwords in plain text.

•  Session tokens for authentication rather than transmitting credentials.

•  Access controls limiting employee and administrator access to personal data.

•  Regular security reviews and updates to our infrastructure.

We do not store credit card or payment information. All purchases are completed directly on our partner retailers' websites. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Privacy Rights

9.1 All Users

Regardless of your location, you have the right to:

•  Access the personal data we hold about you.

•  Correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data.

•  Delete your personal data (see Section 7).

•  Opt out of promotional emails by clicking "unsubscribe" in any marketing email or contacting us.

•  Withdraw consent for data processing where consent is the legal basis.

9.2 California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):

•  Right to Know: you may request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.

•  Right to Delete: you may request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.

•  Right to Opt-Out of Sale: we do not sell personal information as defined under the CCPA/CPRA.

•  Right to Non-Discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

9.3 Nevada Residents

Under Nevada law, you may opt out of the sale of certain personal information. We do not currently sell personal information as defined under Nevada law. If you have questions, contact us at admin@cigarfinder.com.

9.4 Other U.S. State Privacy Laws

Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and others) may have additional rights such as the right to access, correct, delete, and opt out of targeted advertising. To exercise these rights, contact us at admin@cigarfinder.com.

10. Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for adults aged 21 and older. CigarFinder is a tobacco-related price comparison platform and is not directed at children or minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 21. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a person under 21, we will promptly delete that information. 11. Third-Party Links and Services

The Services contain links to third-party retailer websites, social media platforms, and other external sites. When you click a link to a retailer, you leave CigarFinder and are subject to that retailer's privacy policy and terms of service. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of any third-party website. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of every site you visit.

12. International Users

The Services are operated from the United States and are intended primarily for U.S. users. If you access the Services from outside the United States, please be aware that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using the Services, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States.

13. Email Communications

We may send you the following types of email:

•  Transactional emails: welcome emails upon registration, password reset links, and account notifications. These are essential to the operation of your account and cannot be opted out of.

•  Promotional emails: newsletters, product recommendations, deal alerts, and coupon notifications. You may opt out at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in any promotional email or by contacting us.

We use Amazon Simple Email Service (SES) to deliver emails. We do not share your email address with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

14. Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature that signals to websites that you do not want your online activity tracked. There is no uniform standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals. At this time, we do not respond to DNT signals, but you can use the opt-out mechanisms described in Section 5 to control tracking.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. We will notify you of material changes by posting a prominent notice on the site or sending you an email. The "Effective Date" at the top of this page indicates when this policy was last updated. Your continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
