Perdomo Legacy Nicaraguan Shade-Grown | Epicure (Toro) (6.0"x54) | Pack of 5
This will leave an impressionThere’s one thing I’ve always appreciated about Nick Perdomo - pumping out new releases isn’t his top priority. He’d rather maintain his current stable of champions, and only release new blends when all the stars align. His son, Nick Perdomo III seems to be walking the same path with this tribute to his father, Perdomo Legacy. Showcasing their new hybrid leaf, a combination of Cameroon and Cuban seed, Legacy has a lot going for it..Hybrid leaves are a hit or miss for me. Some simply struggle to hit their mark, delivering muddled, indistinct flavors. Legacy Shade Grown does just the opposite. Featured as the wrapper leaf, this unique specimen shines. Delivering an experience reminiscent of both leaves in near perfect fashion. Cedary and slightly sweet nuances found in Cameroon meld seamlessly with earthy, leathery, coffee-esque components of Habano. Aged for 10 years (and 10 months in bourbon barrels), this impressive leaf is joined with a Nicaraguan binder and long-fillers for a long, slow burn. In the end, you’ve got a unique cigar that delivers what it promises.
