A very tasty cigar right from the first puff. BTW the pre light aroma on these babies is typical Pages....aka fricken awesome. The wrapper is nice and dark with an almost even color. Lots of spice, hints of espresso and dark chocolate from light to half way. Not a complex flavor profile, but a damn good one. Ray puts out so many new cigars, it's truly hard to keep up. The kid knows his stuff. My only wish is that he'd pump up the jam a notch or two when it comes to the spice. As it is though, I don't whine because I love most of what I've had from Pages. To me, he's able to extract more flavor out of his leaf than anyone else in the business today. Side note: I smoked a regular Hoofty Gordo this morning with about a year on it. TBH, that year has improved the cigar 5 fold from early on. Ray's cigars benefit from a few months of aging. These MSA are a solid 4.5 stars or 90 on the fat Marvin scale. My son just proclaimed these to be the most stout Raymond yet. I wouldn't disagree. So Keith, make em round, a 6*54 or 6.5*56 would be da bomb diggity. Thanks for keeping the the good stuff coming CP. Screw all these other high-end overpriced Bozo's, I'll take a good Ray Ray or AJ over anything else on da market every time. But hey that's just how The Hog rolls. Cheers ladies.
