The Blackened M81 Corona is a bold premium cigar born from a unique collaboration between Drew Estate, Metallica’s James Hetfield, and Rob Dietrich, the master distiller of Blackened Whiskey. This project took over two years to perfect, with all three partners deeply involved in the blending process. Made in Nicaragua at La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate, this cigar is “Maduro to the Core.” It uses a dark, oily Mexican San Andrés wrapper, a Connecticut Broadleaf binder, and a powerful mix of Nicaraguan and Pennsylvania Broadleaf fillers. The Pennsylvania leaf, known as Green River One Sucker, is one of the strongest tobaccos out there. The flavor is rich and complex. You’ll taste dark chocolate, black cherry, cocoa, and earthy tones, with layers of spice like white pepper, cayenne, saffron, and nutmeg.
